I will always have fond memories of working for Mr. Kotch at Carpenter Steel back in the late '70's and early '80's. He got me into the summer employee program, which I worked in for four summers. It was a tremendous help toward paying for my college education. Underneath a sometimes gruff exterior, he was a kind and generous man.
My deepest condolences to Sue and the rest of the family. May he rest in peace.
