Obituary for Victoria Strozza (Scalingi)

Victoria  Strozza (Scalingi)
Victoria Strozza, (nee: Scalingi), 91, of Roselle, NJ, made her final journey on Sunday, February 4, 2018.
A memorial service will be held in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park at a later date.
Daughter of the late Pasquale and Concetta (nee: Riggi) Scalingi, she moved from Plainfield to Roselle, NJ when she was a child and lived there for over 75 years raising her own family and making the best dinners for all to enjoy.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Victoria was married for over 59 years to her sweetheart Vincent who resembled Clark Gable. She lovingly cared for Vincent when he became ill until his death on September 11, 2009.
She is survived by her children Sandra and Steve Oshetsky, Gina and Kenneth Bergen, and Carl Strozza. She lost her beloved son Franky Strozza on June 19, 1988.
Her grandchildren are Adam Barutis, Adriana and Corey Sorbel, Nicole Cody and Jake Bergen. Her great-grandchildren are Corbin Barutis and brand new baby girl Autumn Sorbel. Victoria’s siblings are Mrs. Jenny Munzing, Mrs. Vera Bechelli, the late Rose Mancini, the late Vera and Josephine Scalingi, Elisa Macera, and Mafalda Norsha are her sister-in-laws, her late brothers Alfred, Albert, Quido “Bill” and Vincent Scalingi, brother-in-laws Cosmo Macera and Michael Norsha.
She had many wonderful nieces and nephews who adored her as well all did and will miss her greatly.
A special thank you to Nella and the crew at Hair Republic Studio Salon who made mom feel beautiful and gave her the opportunity to chew the fat with the girls, all of you made her so happy.
