Obituary for Rose M. Norrish (Coradi)


Rose M. Norrish, (nee: Coradi), 77, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 10am. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm on Monday.
After growing up in Chicora, Pa, in Butler County she moved to New Jersey when she married in 1963, living in Roselle Park, NJ for almost 50 years.
Rose was actively involved in the community serving as PTA President of Sherman School in the 1980’s.
She was dedicated to Church of the Assumption and gave her time to several groups.
Rose was a Girl Scouts leader/ trainer for Heart of New Jersey Council for 30 years.
She is predeceased in death by her husband of 50 years Harold H. Norrish and her parents Angelo and Vada (nee: Zanella) Coradi.
She is survived by three loving children Anthony Norrish and his wife Kim, Jenifer Norrish, and Suzanne Imperiale and her husband Jeff; two grandchildren Hunter Norrish and PJ Imperiale; a sister Joan Coradi and two brothers Angelo and Vincent Coradi.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to Church of the Assumption or Memorial Sloan Kettering.
