Obituary for Alina M. Lisewycz (Siwek)
Alina M. Lisewycz, 91, of Roselle Park, NJ, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 8am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 9am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
Alina was born in Cieszyn, Poland, and lived in many countries throughout Europe before settling to the United States in 1956 to Newark, NJ and lived in Roselle Park for many years.
She was fluent in six languages and an accomplished piano player and teacher.
Alina is predeceased by her husband Alexander, her son Peter, grandsons Robert and Michael Baker.
She is survived by her loving children Roman Lisewycz and wife Connie; Eva Baker and husband Robert; Irene Baran and husband John, and Peter’s widow Olena. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jennifer and husband Enrique Quinones, Christopher Baran and wife Shannon, Katie Baran, Melanie Lisewycz and her great-grandchildren Joshua and Chloe.
