Obituary for Josephine Malgieri (Caprino)
Josephine Malgieri, (nee: Caprino), 89, of Roselle Park, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 26, 2015.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 8:45a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Elizabeth, NJ at 10a.m. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, NJ.
Visitation is 4 to 8p.m. on Wednesday.
Born and raised in Elizabeth, Josephine was a resident of Roselle Park since 1966.
She was employed with Eastern States Transportation Co., in Elizabeth for 35 years, retiring 30 years ago.
Josephine was a member of the Peterstown Community Center and communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church, both of Elizabeth.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Rocco Malgieri, who passed away on June 4, 2015, after 66 years of marriage; her parents and five siblings.
Surviving are her devoted nephew, Peter Busichio and his wife, Camille, and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Josephine’s memory may be made to: Center for Hope Hospice, 1900 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076.
