To Those I Love and Those Who Love Me
by Mary Alice Ramish
When I am gone, release me, let me go
I have so many things to see and do
You must not tie yourself to me with tears
Be happy that I have had so many years
I gave you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave me in happiness
I thank you for the love each have shown
But now it is time I traveled on alone
So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust
It is only for a while that we must part
So bless the memories in your heart
I will not be far away, for life goes on
So if you need me, call and I will come
Though you cannot see or touch me, I will be near
And if you listen with your heart, you will hear
All of my love around you soft and clear
Then, when you must come this way alone
I will greet you with a smile and a
Welcome Home
I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember for all the the thing that my Aunt helped me with my education and times that I spent when I was a young visiting for a week or 2. Many good memories.
I'll always remember Aunt Dolores as I was growing up in Kenilworth. She was a frequent visitor at our house in Kenilworth because we lived so close to one other. After we moved to North Carolina we didn't see her very much. I'll always remember the Christmas she was visiting. Camille and my younger sisters were set up to march around the house with one of our bras on singing "Knockers Up". It was hilarious at the time. Aunt Dolores was one of the instigators of that sideshow. I'll always be thankful to her and Uncle John for letting me live with them on the weekends when I was in Nursing School.
