Obituary for Dorothy M. Thompson (Hellinger)
Dorothy M. Thompson, (nee: Hellinger), 81, of Kenilworth, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Overlook Medical Center in Summit.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa R. C. Church in Kenilworth at 10am. Interment will follow to Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visitation is 4 to 8pm Wednesday.
Born in Jersey City, Dorothy was raised in Bayonne before moving to Kenilworth 46 years ago.
She was a clerk for the Borough of Kenilworth for ten years before her retirement, prior to that she was a clerk for Western Electric in South Kearny for 33 years.
Surviving is her beloved husband of 56 years William R. Thompson; dear sister of Robert Hellinger and Betty Leigh. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
