Obituary for Giuseppe "Peppe" Muia
Giuseppe Muia, 80 of Kenilworth and Delray Beach, FL passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2015 in the Hospice By The Sea, Boca Raton, FL.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa Church, Kenilworth, NJ at 10am. Entombment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ.
Visitation is 4 to 8pm on Wednesday.
Born in Spilinga, Italy, Mr. Muia moved to the United States in 1954 settling in Newark before moving to Kenilworth and then to Delray Beach, FL.
Mr. Muia was a Longshoreman at Maher Terminal in Port Elizabeth for thirty six years, retiring in 1991.
He was a member of the Spilingese Club, Newark.
Mr. Muia was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is predeceased by his loving parents Pasquale and Maria Muia.
Surviving is his devoted wife of forty six years Domenica, ”Mimi” (nee: Costa) Muia, two loving daughters, Maria Bartolo and Laura Hardman and her husband Robert, a dear brother, Antonio Muia, and three cherished grandchildren Cathryn, Donna and Joseph.
