Obituary for Lucy M. Bennett

Lucy M. Bennett, 64, of Milltown, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 surrounded by her beloved family.

Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park 10am. Entombment will follow to Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
Visitation will be 6 to 9pm on Sunday.

A computer system analyst for 16 years and radiologic technologist for 21 years. She was devoted to her family and her beloved pugs Ming and Kim. An avid crocheter and book reader. Always enjoyed sharing her talents with all. Her greatest joy was family gatherings and snuggling with her beloved Ming and Kim. With heavy hearts she will be missed by all she touched but especially her beloved family. We know all the angels will enjoy her delicious cookies that we all will miss.

She is predeceased by her beloved mother Lucy, father Leonard, and beloved pugs Ming and Kim.

Lucy is survived by her loving family sister Catherine Bonassisa (deceased brother-in-law Michael Sr., brother Leonard Bennett, Jr. and wife Doris, Brother Al Bennett and wife Carmen, sister Laura Heinl Buffardi and husband Harry (deceased brother-in-law Billy Heinl), and brother Paul Bennett and beloved “sister pet” Catherine.

Lucy is survived by nieces and nephews Michael Bonassisa, Jr., Sherriann Bonassisa, Sandra Bonassisa Smith and husband Dion Smith, beloved godson Vincent Bonassisa, Sr. and wife Ann Marie, Victoria Bonassisa and fiancé Ralph, Lisa Bennett and Al Bennett.

Lucy is survived by great-nieces and great-nephews Michael Anthony Bonassisa and wife Melissa, Nicole Bonassisa, Mary, Theresa and Catherine Bonassisa, Vincent Bonassisa, Jr. and fiancé Becky, Stephanie Bonassisa, Katherina Schoner and fiancé Jorge, and Ralph Schoner, Jr.

Lucy is also survived by great-great nieces and great-great nephews Harry and Hope Bonassisa, Andrew, Ramon, Kayla, and Dillon.
