Obituary for George J. LaRosa
George J. LaRosa, 81, of Linden, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10, 2019.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 9:30am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. John the Apostle Church in Clark at 11am. Interment will follow to St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
Visitation is 5 to 8pm on Tuesday.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, George lived in Clark before settling to Linden 12 years ago.
He was an electrician for General Motors Corp in Linden for 37 years, retiring 18 years ago.
George served his country in the United States Army National Guard.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife Angela (nee: Colosuonno) LaRosa.
George is survived by three loving children Josephine Gargano, Annette Jacobs and her husband Robert, and George LaRosa and his wife Theresa, four adored grandchildren Patrick and his fiancée Teneshia, Angela, Anthony, and Christopher, and a cherished great-granddaughter Brianna.
