Obituary for Alice A Gorombey (Warnock)
Alice (nee Warnock) Gorombey, 70, of Roselle Park passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at home with her loving family by her side.
Alice was born in Bayonne and raised in Roselle Park.
She was a graduate of Trenton State College with a degree in Education. After her graduation, Alice taught at Holy Spirit School in Union for one year; Saint John the Apostle School in Clark for one year; and continued teaching at Saint Theresa School in Kenilworth for thirty tremendous years, where she was involved in the After Care Program, Summer Camp, Student Council, Chess Club, Social Concerns, and the Union County Catholic League of Forensics. STS students saw Mrs. Gorombey as their greatest supporter and source of guidance. She had a devotion to Saint John Bosco and loved the Jersey shore.
Alice was predeceased by her parents, Isabelle and John Warnock, and her brother, John Warnock (July 2019). Alice is survived by her husband Thomas Gorombey; her daughters: Melanie, Jamie, Tara and Corrie; her seven grandchildren: Brianne, Jacob, Aidenn, Isabelle, Christian, Charlotte, and Hunter.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 2-6 pm at Mastapeter Funeral Home, Roselle Park. Services will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 10:00 am at Mastapeter Funeral Home, Roselle Park.
Please be at the funeral home 9:15am.Interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, NJ.
