Joseph Crisci, 80, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, formerly of Kenilworth, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 31, 2019.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa R. C. Church in Kenilworth at 10:30am. Interment will follow to Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
Visitation will be Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
Born in Pago, Italy, Joseph came to the United States in 1953, settling to Kenilworth, NJ, before moving to Little Egg Harbor 12 years ago.
He was a truck driver for Red Star Trucking in Newark, retiring 15 years ago.
Joseph was the former Fire Chief for the Kenilworth Volunteer Fire Department.
He served his country in the United States Army 101st Airborne Division as a paratrooper.
Joseph was a member of the New Jersey Firemen’s Exempt Association.
Surviving is his beloved wife Martha (nee: Lospinoso) Crisci of 46 years, five loving children, Joann Gianfrancesco and her husband Fred, Richard Sheahan and his wife April, Angela Marrero and her husband Wil, Joseph Crisci, Jr. and Rose Crisci, seven adored grandchildren, and his dear faithful canine companion Bella.
