Vincent C. Maiuri, 84, of Ocean Gate, died peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2019, with his loving family at his bedside. Born and raised in Paterson, Vincent has been a longtime resident of Ocean Gate since 1979. Mr. Mairui and his devoted wife, Patricia owned and operated the Ocean Gate Convenience Market for many years before his retirement. Vincent loved to stroll the Ocean Gate beach, take his trips to A/C and tend his garden. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the police actions of post Korean War era.
Surviving are; his wife Patricia; three children, Vincent Maiuri, Jr., Thomas Maiuri and Vanessa Machuga and her husband James; two grandsons, James and Vincent and also his nephew Anthony Agresti
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a viewing on Monday, Apr. 8th, starting at 7pm and will conclude after the Prayer Service at 8pm, in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. Entombment will follow on Tuesday. Gathering at the funeral home by 9AM, then leaving for Calvary Cemetery in Paterson. The cortege should arrive at the cemetery around 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Vincent’s memory to: St. Jude Children’s Hospital (stjude.org), would be appreciated.
