David T. Black, 62, of Bayville, died on March 17, 2019 with his loving wife and family at his bedside. Born in New Brunswick and raised in Piscataway, he moved to Bayville in 2007. Mr. Black was a Technical Engineer and was employed at Rockwell International Corporation as an Aerospace Designer of aircraft parts. He then worked at Exxel Container Corporation in Edison and currently at Shop Rite of Bayville. Dave was a dedicated member and current Chaplin of the B.P.O.Elks Lodge #2394 of Bayville. He was also an organizer and volunteer of the Food Pantry at the Faith Community United Methodist Church in Bayville. He loved gardening, landscaping and being outdoors. He attended many floral shows and his family trips to Florida. David proudly served his country in the US Airforce working and maintaining F-16 fighter planes. He is predeceased by his parents, Harold and Joan and by his two brothers, James and Stephen.
Surviving are; his wife Arlene (Blair) Black; three sons, David, Nick and Anthony; three step-daughters, Kristen Jackson, Renee DeFrancesco and Amanda Kimmerle; two sisters, Kathryn Rivas and Patricia Toth. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren and three nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Life Celebration for David on Sunday, April 14th, from 1PM to 5PM at the Bayville Elks Lodge #2394, 247 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville NJ 08721.
