Obituary for Andrew J. Peranto Sr.
Andrew J. Peranto, Sr. 79, of Rahway passed away at University Hospital, Newark, on March 15, 2019.
Andrew was born in Wilkes Barre, PA, and lived most of his life in Roselle Park before moving to Rahway in 1999.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave, Roselle Park. Funeral mass will be on Wednesday at 10am at Church of the Assumption and burial will follow at Rosemount Memorial Park, Elizabeth.
Andrew was predeceased by his son Andrew Joseph Jr. "AJ" in 1969; his sisters, Patricia Hann, Catherine Race, Geraldine Orr & brother in law, Charles Hann and many great friends. Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Anna; his daughters, Mary McGann and her husband Chuck, Cindy DeForge and her husband Kevin, JoAnn Iveson and her husband Tom, Michelle Vangelakos and her husband George & AnnMarie Maier and her husband Bob; his brother Russell "Duke" Race and his wife Irene; 15 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.
Andrew was an incredible & loving family man and will be missed by all!
