Obituary for Alan E. Wood
Alan E. Wood, 59, a lifelong Kenilworth resident, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 26, 2019.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service on Thursday, January 31, 2019 in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park at 10am. Please be at the funeral home 9am. Interment will follow to Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
Visitation will be 4:30- to 8:30pm on Wednesday.
He was a sanitation worker for the Kenilworth Department of Public Works for 25 years, retiring in 2016.
Alan was a member of the Mountainside Elks Lodge 1585 and the Kenilworth American Legion S.A.L.
He is predeceased by his beloved parents Louis and Ruth (nee: Plummer) Wood and a loving brother David Scorese.
Alan is survived by three loving siblings Richard Wood and his wife Lisa, Debra Melka and her husband Edward, and Jane St. John, dear nephew of Fred and Dorothy Plummer. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
