Michael R. Flores, 50, of Bayville, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018, after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer and Heart Disease. Born in Lakewood and raised in Jackson, he has resided in Bayville many years.
Mr. Flores was a learned and dedicated EMS Technician with Quality Medical Transport in Bayville. He was always studying new producers to keep up with new treatments and energy services for injured people. He helped and saved countless lives which he was passionate about. He first started with Jackson Volunteer First Aid Squad and was their official photographer. He also served on Manchester Township First Aid Squad where he served as Vice President for 2 years. He then Trained to become a Fireman and served both Jackson and Ocean Gate Fire departments. In addition to serving his communities, he also served his country in the US Marine Corp during the 1980’s. Above all that, Michael was an avid cook who was passionate about all styles of cuisines.
He is predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Lois and his brother Frank. Surviving are; his loving and devoted daughter Jessica Flores; his brother Rusty Flores; his nephew John and his niece Melinda and her children, Christopher, Ashley and Taryn.
Visiting hours will be Saturday, Dec. 22th, from Noon to 2pm at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. Immediately following will a processional drive through Ocean Gate community which will conclude at the Ocean Gate Firehouse.
In lieu of flowers, the family would accept donations for the mounting medical bills and expenses.
