Michael Zalinski, 73, of Kenilworth, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, at his home on Saturday, September 29, 2018.

Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa R. C. Church in Kenilworth at 10am. Interment will follow to Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.
Visitation will be 4 to 8pm on Wednesday.


Michael was born in Elizabeth, NJ and lived in Kenilworth, NJ for the past 48 years.

He worked for Wakefern Food Corp, as a maintenance mechanic for 35 years before retiring 11 years ago.

He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War as an E4 and was a member of the American Legion in Rahway & VFW Post 2230 in Kenilworth.

Michael was survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Diane (nee: Colineri) Zalinski, two loving daughters, Traci & Jennifer Zalinski, and his dear caretaker Debbie.
