Vincent G. Papa, 91, of Roselle, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 1, 2018.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 10am. Entombment will follow to St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
Visitation will be 7 to 9pm tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Friday.
Born in New York City, NY, Vincent lived in Roselle, NJ for 80 years.
He was the owner of Roselle Exxon in Roselle for many years, retiring 30 years ago.
Vincent served his country in the United States Army during WWII.
He was a member of the Italian American Club in Roselle.
Vincent is predeceased by his loving son Vincent C. Papa.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 65 years Theresa (nee: DiProfio) Papa; three loving children; Virginia Papa-Horning and her husband Edward, Roseann Rinaldi and her husband Jim, and John Papa and his wife Melissa, a dear sister; Connie Colucci, 8 adored grandchildren; Carly (Yusuf), Christopher, Melissa (Eugene), Danielle, Rachel, Vincent, Anthony, and Isabella, and one cherished great-grandson; Cameron. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
