To the family and friends,
I would like to express my deepest condolences as you grieve the loss of Maria. I know you all must be overcome with grief. God created us with "time indefinite" in our hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11) so it is difficult and sometimes impossible to accept the loss.
God does offer us comfort which is why I am writing today. He promises that very soon, death will be a thing of the past. Revelations 21:4 states "and He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more. The former things have passed away." John 5:28,29 promises the “the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life…” Not only will we no longer have to death with the loss of loved one but we can look forward to welcoming them back.
May these verses offer you some comfort in your loss.
