Peter Anthony Boright, 37, of Barnegat, NJ, formerly of Scotch Plains, NJ, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018.

Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm on Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 10am in the Vanderhoven Memorial Chapel at Hazelwood Cemetery, 64 Lake Ave., Colonia, NJ, 07067.

He was a 1999 graduate of Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School where he distinguished himself in the R.O.T.C. Program. He also graduated from the Union County Vocational-Technical Institute of Scotch Plains and attended Union County College. He was an honor student in the Ocean County Vocational-Technical School dental program.

Peter was a journeyman with the New Jersey Iron Workers Local 11, and was a member of the Greenbriar Oceanaire Golf and Country Club Men’s Club.

He was admired for his uplifting personality characterized by the kind and caring sensitivity he extended to others; his cheerfulness, patience, broad smile, and willingness to assist other people.

Peter leaves his loving parents, Walter E. and Pamela E. (Zardecki) Boright, a most affectionate sister, Amy Boright Porchetta, and her husband Michael, a caring brother, Christian A. Boright, a nephew, Jude Anthony Siperstein, the two being inseparable from one another, his friend and former brother-in-law, Jared M. Siperstein, a loving fiancée, Alexandra and her two daughters.
