Obituary for Margaret Rita Iannarilli (Stearle)
Margaret Rita Iannarilli, (nee: Stearle), 94, of Kenilworth, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 10, 2017.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa R. C. Church in Kenilworth at 10am. Interment will follow to St.Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, NJ.
Visitation will be Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
Born in Trenton, NJ, Rita lived in Kenilworth, NJ for 63 years.
She was an active volunteer in her church, her sons’ schools, and the community.
Rita was a den mother for Cub Scout Pack 83, and recording secretary for many groups.
She was involved with the Friends of the Kenilworth Library, the Rosary Altar Society of St. Theresa’s Church, and the Kenilworth Senior Citizen Club as acting secretary for many years.
Rita loved reading and traveling. Over the last 14 years, she developed into an accomplished watercolor artist, with her works on display across Union County.
She is predeceased in death by her beloved husband Frank J. Iannarilli.
Surviving are two loving sons Frank J. Iannarilli, Jr. and James Iannarilli; a sister Marie Reasor; and four cherished grandchildren Greg, Sam, Lucia, and Gianna.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kenilworth Senior Citizens Club, 526 Boulevard, Kenilworth, NJ, 07033 or Center for Hope Hospice, 1900 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ, 07076 in Rita’s memory.
