Obituary for Maruja Nevarez
Maruja Nevarez, 91, of Cranford, passed away at her home on November 19, 2018. Maruja came to the US in 1953 and settled in Union before moving to Cranford for 27 years.
Visitation will be on Friday from 8-9:30am at Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave, Roselle Park. Funeral mass will be at 10am at St. Theresa’s Church, Kenilworth, with entombment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Bolivar in 2011 and survived by her children Jennifer Batkiw & her husband Michael & Edward & his wife Susan; 3 cherished grandsons, Jason, Michael & Anthony.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Way, Memphis, TN 38105-3678.
