Edward A. Protz, 79, of East Brunswick, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 29, 2018.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation 1 to 4pm on Saturday, September 1, 2018 in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park. Funeral Services will be during the visitation.

Cemetery is private.

Born in Roselle Park, NJ, Edward lived in Raleigh, North Carolina, before settling to East Brunswick, NJ.

He was a credit manager for Walter Kidde in Belleville, NJ and Wake Forest, North Carolina for 16 years, retiring 18 years ago.

Surviving are three loving children; Glen Protz, Debra Protz, Amber Sierant and her husband Jason, a dear brother; Michael Crane, Jr., and three adored grandchildren; Kelli, Kylie, and Brayden.
