Robert J. Struffenegger, 88, of Kenilworth, passed away at home on July 11, 2018. He was best known around town as "Uncle Bob". Born in Newark, he was raised in Union & Irvington before moving to Kenilworth 53 years ago. He worked for Equifax, Newark, as a private investigator before retiring 33 years ago. He was a member of the NRA and served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.
Robert was predeceased by his parents, Jack & Anna; his sister Dorothy Kelchner and a nephew, John Kelchner. Surviving is his nephew Robert Kelchner & his wife Deborah; his 5 greatnieces, Amanda, Samantha, Sara, Erica & Vana & great nephew Jay and 1 niece in law, Julie Kelchner.
Memorial gathering will be on Monday July 23, from 7-9pm at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave, Roselle Park, NJ. Cremation was private.
