Obituary for Robert E. Jeans Jr.
Robert E. Jeans, Jr., of Scotch Plains, NJ, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 8:30am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa R. C. Church in Kenilworth at 10am. Interment will follow to Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
Visitation will be on Wednesday 4 to 8pm.
Born in Summit, NJ, Robert was raised in Kenilworth, NJ, before moving to Scotch Plains, NJ nine years ago.
He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, concentrating in finance and real estate.
Robert was an executive director with PGIM-Global Investment Management Business of Prudential Financial, Inc., and portfolio manager for PRISA III in Madison, NJ and board member of National Multi-Housing Council (NMHC) and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
He was an administrator and coach of Kenilworth Wrestling and a member of Shackamaxon Golf and Country Club in Scotch Plains, NJ.
Surviving is his beloved wife Kristen (nee: Grady) Jeans, three adored children McKenna, Emerson, and Declan Jeans, loving parents Lenore (nee: Morrison) and Robert E. Jeans, Sr., caring sister Stacie Bussiere and her husband Roland, and a dear mother-in-law Maryann (nee: Zampaglione) Grady.
Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in Robert’s memory to the Kenilworth VFW, 33 South 21st Street, Kenilworth, NJ, 07033.
