Leo “Bud” Schumm, 72, of Bayville, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family, on Monday, June 11th 2018 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, after a long struggle with ALS.

Bud was born in Paterson, NJ to Leo & Ruth Schumm and was one of three children. As a child, Bud loved the outdoors and spent many days fishing with his father in Sandy Hook. In his later years Bud enjoyed golfing with his wife, son and grandson, especially in his favorite vacation destination in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Bud was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dorothy Schumm, son Brian and grandson Brendan; his brother Ronald Schumm and sister Linda Dino; his brother-in-law Art, nephew Art Jr., niece Michelle and his cousins Gail Bartilucci, Doug Lawrence, Wayne Lawrence and Denise Scott.
