Obituary for Jerome C. Gruenenfelder
Jerome C. Gruenenfelder, 91, of Land O Lakes, FL, formerly of Roselle Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 10, 2018.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 10am. Interment will follow to Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
Visitation will be 6 to 9pm Tuesday.
Born in Highland, IL, Jerome lived in Roselle Park, NJ, moving back to Highland, IL, before settling to Land O Lakes, FL.
He served his Country during WWII in the United States Merchant Marines.
Jerome was a boiler Engineer for Ciba-Geigy in Summit for many years before his retirement.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife Camille (Cue) Gruenenfelder, loving son Thomas Gruenenfelder, an adored great-grandson Austin Gilliam, and a dear sister Lois Gruenenfelder.
Jerome is survived by three loving children Linda Leone and her husband Vincent, Robin Chechko and her husband Michael, and Ronald Gruenenfelder, a dear sister Virginia Feller, two cherished grandchildren, four adored great-grandchildren, and loving great-great granddaughter. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
