Obituary for Mary Kathryn Secatello (Merritt)
Mary Kathryn Secatello, (nee: Merritt), 90, of Roselle Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 1, 2018.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm on Thursday, April 5, 2018 in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, with a service at 7pm.
Entombment will be private for the family.
Born in State College, PA, Mary Kathryn lived in Hoboken before settling to Roselle Park 49 years ago.
She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Mary Kathryn was an avid New York Yankee’s fan and bowler and very creative at crocheting.
She was a member of the Roselle Park Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Mary Kathryn is predeceased by her beloved husband James V. Secatello and a loving daughter Karen Burnett.
She is survived by four loving children, Linda Nesheiwat and her husband Michael, Ann Ballard and her husband Bill, James J. Secatello, and Robert Secatello and his wife Wendy, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in Mary Kathryn’s memory to ARC of Union County (arcunion.org)
