Condolence: Dear Michael and family, I am so moved by all the wonderful stories about Pat and her kindness, and to see how many people she touched with that kindness. I was able to share a few hikes with her and was really looking forward to the spring when I would look to join her again. So sad, but I will think of her each time I see the beauty of nature. You must all be so proud to have been loved by her, God bless you all.

Condolence From: Ursula Maresca
Condolence: Upon taking up hiking in 2017, I sampled a number of hiking groups.Pat and TSR quickly became a favorite. Every week I would check the schedule to see if Pat was leading a hike on Saturday. Her pace was energetic but left time for enjoying the beauty of the natural world we were hiking through. I was shocked and saddened to learn of her sudden loss. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. There are those who come into our lives giving us an example of how to be our best self. Pat was that for me.

Condolence From: Debbie Badger
Condolence: My sincerest condolences for your loss. Pat and I had been work colleagues at Benjamin Moore, and unfortunately did not do as good a job of staying in touch after we both left there. However, we did manage sporadically to touch base through a mutual friend, and it was through her I learned of Pat's passing. She was a fun person to know, and the world is a little less brighter without her in it.

Condolence: Pat and I go back 45 years. We met as teenagers and have been through a lot together. She was one of my dearest and closest friends. Mike, you know you and Pat are family to Howard and me. We grieve with you Mike and with Eleanor, and Brian and Joanne and their families. Kind, generous, adventurous, people lover, animal lover, challenger, fun-loving free spirit, prankster, and bestowed with multiple talents and gifts including the gift of gab-that was Pat. But most of all she was our dearest friend. We Love you Pat. We love you Mike. Marianne and Howard

Condolence: I am so sorry to learn about this unfortunate news. We've heard wonderful things about Pat and her hikes. Guy and I had the fortune to bump into her at Round Valley Reservoir a few months ago. She was indeed a wonderful and kind hearted person. I am sorry she had to pass so young. May she rest in peace. And may all who know her as family, friends and colleagues cherish memories of her always.

Condolence: To the family, friends, and coworkers that knew Pat well! I am sorry to hear of this great loss not just for you but also for the hiking community. She has taken her place amongst the stars. She had a big heart for family, friends, coworkers and for adventure. She was a true outdoors woman and an ambassador to the trail. She always loved exploring, sharing her life and her adventures! When we feel lost just look to the night sky where she will continue to watch over and guide us! Hike the trails where she made her mark with every step she took. Pat safe and happy trails on your next big journey. You will be missed dearly! Til our trails cross at some mountain summit! Til we meet again mamma bear.

Condolence: I can only be grateful for the all-too brief opportunities that I had to speak with Patti about her vast interests and experiences. Aside from her professional expertise, which was unparalleled, she was such an engaging person. I for one am devastated, and I know I am not alone. Thank you so much Linda Hamilton for your recollection of that sad day. As a fellow hiker, I know that she was doing what she loved to do. My Thoughts and Prayers are with her entire family at this time. To echo some of her previous posters, Patti, hike with G-d

Condolence: I only met Pat for a minute. I was on that hike at South Mountain that sad day. I was shocked because she had just taken a picture of me and she told me I was looking beautiful. Not long after that we had to call 911. That was the first and last time I spoke to her. I have been praying for her family and they have my sincere sympathy for the loss of this wife, mother, daughter and grandmother.
