Matthew Ponticello, 69, of Absecon, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 5, 2018.
A Memorial Gathering will be on Saturday, April 7, 2018 in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park from 2 to 4pm.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Matthew was raised in Newark, NJ, before moving to Absecon 15 years ago.
He was a self-employed coffee vender for Free the Green Bean in Absecon for 4 years, retiring 4 years ago.
Matthew served his country during the Vietnam War in the United Stated Air Force.
He is predeceased by his step-daughter Karen Evans.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 5 years Sarah (nee: Champion) Ponticello, a daughter Kimberly Ponticello and her fiancé Christopher Bellina, a step-son Robert Champion, a step-daughter Angela Donato, two brothers Salvatore and Charles Ponticello, two grandchildren Mercedes and Jabez, and two step-grandsons Brandon and Frankie.
