Barbara A. Downey, (nee: Willyung), 78, of Hazlet, NJ, formerly of Kenilworth, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 8, 2018.

Visitation will be 5 to 9pm on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, with services beginning at 8pm.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Barbara lived in Kenilworth, NJ for 15 years, before moving to Hazlet, NJ 15 years ago.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband John J. Downey, Sr.

Surviving are seven loving children Colleen Heyn, Kelly Groves, John J. Downey, Jr., Jeffrey M. Downey, Patrick Downey, Kevin Downey, and Richard Downey, a brother John Willyung, two sisters Phyllis Eskildsen and Marie Lang, 18 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
