Nancy Rose “Bozio” Kinloch, 80, of Whiting, died on February 3, 2018. Born and raised in Newark on Tiffany Boulevard, she lived in Roselle Park for 44 years before moving to Whiting New Jersey in 2010. Mrs. Kinloch was a 1955 Honor Graduate of Good Council High School in Newark. She worked at NJ Bell Telephone in Newark and Shinn United Crane & Shovel in Kenilworth before her over 20-year career as executive secretary for Union County Vocational Technical School and UC Magnet High School, both of Scotch Plains. She was a former communicant of Church of the Assumption and an active member of the Rosary Society. Past member of Sherman Elementary School PTA and served as Chairperson for 10 years of the Democratic Committee, all of Roselle Park. An Avid Yankee Fan, she loved rooting for her favorite player, Derek Jeter. Nancy is predeceased by her parents, Gerardo and Mary (née Centanni ) Bozio; her beloved mother-in-law Mildred Byrne Kinloch; sister-in-law Betty Ann (née Condren) Kinloch and special friend, Big Jerry Albert. Nancy loved her family with all her heart and is survived by; her devoted husband of 56 years, Gregory J.; four children, Stephen and his partner Jeff, John, Kevin and his wife Janette and Suzanne; three grandchildren, Danielle, Kyle and Brenden; brother-in-law Thomas Kinloch; special best friend Dolores Albert and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday, Feb 7th, from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. Funeral Thursday, 9:15am at the funeral home before celebrating an 10:45am Funeral Mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy’s memory to: St. Eliz. Ann. Seton Church “Building Fund”, 30 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting, NJ 08759, would be appreciated.
