Joseph S. Maurigi, 92, of Kenilworth, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 26, 2018.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will follow to St. Anthony of Padua Church in Elizabeth at 10am. Entombment will follow to St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
Visitation will be on Monday 5 to 9pm.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Joseph lived in Kenilworth, NJ since 1971.
Joseph served his country in the United States Army during World War II serving in the EAME Theater, Battle of Normandy, Northern Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe.
He was an accountant for American Cyanamid in Linden, NJ for 41 years, retiring in 1991.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 60 years, Anna (nee: Genna) Maurigi, two loving children Michael Maurigi and his wife Dawn, and Donna Masucci and his husband Patrick, and three adored grand-children Anthony, Michelle, and Jessica.
