Richard L. Margeton, 78, of Kenilworth, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 20, 2018.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 8:30am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. James the Apostle Church in Springfield at 10am. Interment will follow to Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
Visitation will be 3 to7pm on Tuesday.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ Richard lived in Kenilworth for 75 years.
He was a lab technician for Celanese Corp. in Summit, prior to that he was a baker for Almar Bakery in Kenilworth.
Richard served his country in the United States Navy.
He was a member of the Galloping Hill Cruisers and had a love for Hot Rods.
Surviving is his wife of 54 years Mary (nee: Fiorellino) Margeton, two loving children a son Richard L. Margeton, Jr. and his wife Carmen, and a daughter Michele Blandine and her husband Randy, a dear brother Stephen Margeton and his wife Margaret, and four adored grandchildren Michael, Morgan, Shawn, and Kayla.
