Obituary for Domenica "Mimma" Cuppari
Domenica “Mimma” Cuppari, (nee: Messina), 89, of Kenilworth, NJ, passed onto the Lord on Monday, January 15, 2018.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa R. C. Church in Kenilworth at 10am. Entombment will follow to the Cuppari Family Mausoleum in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
Visitation will be 5 to 8pm on Thursday.
Born in Ioppolo (Vibo Valentia) in Calabria, Italy, Domenica came to the United States in 1957 and a longtime resident of Kenilworth, NJ.
Mimma was a devoted parishioner of St. Theresa’s Church in Kenilworth.
Mimma retired from Shering-Plough after which she continued pursuing her passion for knitting and travel.
She especially enjoyed going on pilgrimages to the Holy Land in Israel, Fatima, and Lourdes where she went several times.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Domenico Cuppari, a dear brother Pasquale, a dear sister Maria, and an adored niece Antonella.
Mimma leaves behind many friends, adored nieces and nephews both in Italy and in the United States.
She will be greatly missed. May God keep her in his glory.
