Louis S. Sanislo, 72, of Beachwood, died on January 5th, 2018 with his family at his side. Born in Sommerville, he lived in Manville and Brick before moving to Beachwood 20 years ago. Mr. Sanislo was a mechanic with PSE&G out of Somerset for over 33 years. He proudly served his country in the US Army during Vietnam War and a member of the Disabled American Veterans 129 of Toms River. Lou also enjoyed searching to recycle metal scrap and was an avid fisherman. He was predeceased by his sister Evelyn Cardillo
Surviving are; his wife of 52 years Sandy; two children, Jeffrey Sanislo and his companion Patty Zalewski and Wendy Carvalho and her husband Tom; two granddaughters, Alexandria and Gabrielle Carvalho; a sister Betty-Lou Scott and two nieces, Elizabeth and Kathleen.
Visiting hours will be Thursday, Jan. 11th, from 6pm to 9pm at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. Funeral Friday, 10am at the funeral home, before celebrating a 11am Funeral Mass at, St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Rd., Bayville. Burial will follow, with Military Honors, at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
