Obituary for Leonard R. Aquilante
Leonard R. Aquilante, 95, of Forked River passed away on October 21, 2017. Born in Bridgeport, CT, he lived many years in Point Pleasant before finally settling to Forked River. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was owner and operator of Fay’s Kitchen for 27 years. He was an avid golfer but most of all he a was a beloved husband, father and Pop Pop.
Mr. Aquilante is predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Fay in 2007. Surviving are his two children, Leonard J. Aquilante and Valerie Mines and her husband John, his 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Viewing will be Monday, October 30, 2017 from 10 – 11am at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville, NJ 08721. Burial will follow at B.G.W.C.D. Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, with a 12:30 service in the cemetery chapel.
