Obituary for Christina Marie "Tina" Vicari (Amoroso)
Christina Marie Vicari, 51, of Lanoka Harbor, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 16, 2017 with her loving family at her bedside.
Born in Belleville, she lived many years in Garwood before moving to Lanoka Harbor in 2008. Mrs. Vicari was a 1984 graduate of David Brealey High School in Kenilworth and, has been employed with AT&T for 17 years.
Affectionally known as Tina, she was the center heart of her family, and lived for them. She especially enjoyed family trips, occasions and holidays. She was a special loving person and will be dearly missed. She was predeceased by her mother Mildred Amoroso in 2006.
Christina sadly leaves behind; her husband of 22 years, Kenny; 2 cherished children, Alexis and Michael; 2 brothers, John Amoroso and his wife Cory, and James Amoroso and his wife Dina; her sister-in-law, Elaine Mazuca and her partner Joe Szczech, and her brother-in-law, James Mellen and his wife Laureen; also, her 3 loving nieces, Brianna Mazuca, Jacquelyn Amoroso and Nicole Amoroso, and also her cousin and best friend Michelle Conklin, who has been with her through out her fight, and as well as many extended family members and loving friends.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday, Sept. 20th, from 6:00pm to 9pm at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Avenue, Roselle Park. Funeral Thursday, 11am at the funeral home, leaving at 12 noon to the Evergreen Cemetery Chapel in Hillside for a 12:30pm funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the family would accept memorial contributions for her children.
