Obituary for Carol Caffrey (Brown)
Carol Caffrey, (nee: Brown), 76, of Tamiment, PA, formerly of Roselle Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 24, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, NJ, on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 8:30am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park, NJ at 10am. Interment will follow to St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, NJ. Visitation is 4 to 8pm on Friday.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Carol was raised in Cranford, NJ, moved to Roselle Park, NJ in 1962, before settling to Tamiment, PA 16 Years ago.
She was a receptionist for Westfield Associates in OBGYN in Westfield, NJ, retiring 10 years ago, prior to that she worked for National Telephone Directories in Union, NJ, she was also a Crossing Guard for many years in Roselle Park, NJ.
Carol is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years Joseph Caffrey; two loving sons Wayne and his wife Mary and Mark and his wife Christine; two dear sisters Susan Czarnatowicz and Robin Burke; and 7 adored grandchildren Kevin, Stephanie, Mark, Dillon, Maren, Ian, and Maylin.
