Dorothy Pearl Corson (nee: Barrett), 85, formerly of Roselle Park, NJ passed away with her family around her in Carroll County, MD on Wednesday, July 12, 2017.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral services on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park at 11am. Please be at the funeral home 10am. Interment will follow to Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth, NJ.
Visitation is Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ Dorothy was raised in Harcourt, Newfoundland, Canada. She was the oldest of three daughters born to Charles and Esther Barrett.

Dorothy was a retired communications worker for Bell Laboratories and AT&T for over forty years. She enjoyed gardening and baking, and no Christmas holiday was complete without her butter horn cookies and cheesecake. She loved to watch the birds outside her kitchen window and could sit and watch for hours.

She was predeceased by her husband of seventeen years, Robert Vickers Corson, a longtime companion James (Duke) Crowell and a son Randy Corson. Dorothy is survived by son Robert, and daughter Linda and her husband Michael Triano, two sisters Edna Corson and Audrey Traute, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family would like to thank Carroll Hospice, Carroll County, Maryland, for their efforts, care, and dedication.
