Sam J. DiFonzo, 81, a lifelong Westfield, NJ resident, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 2, 2017.
Visitation is 5 to 8pm on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, NJ.
All are to meet for a 9am Funeral Mass on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Holy Trinity R. C. Church in Westfield, NJ. Interment will follow to Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ.
He was a laborer for J. DelConte & Son in Garwood for 10 years, retiring many years ago, prior to that he worked for Mayfair Provision in Kenilworth for 30 years.
Sam was a member of the Mountainside Elks BPOE 1585.
He served his country in the United States Army.
Sam is predeceased by his beloved wife Dolores (nee: Amoroso) DiFonzo.
Surviving are two loving daughters Catherine Ross and her husband Robert and Laura Gomez and her husband Ben, a dear sister Angelina Migliozzi, and two dear sister-in-laws Shirley Amoroso and Ruth Venturella.
