Obituary for Floyd E. Clements
Floyd E. Clements, 92, of Beachwood, died peacefully on June 5, 2017. Mr. Clements was honored to serve his country for 20 years in the US Navy. He served in two Wars, World War II aboard the USS Hornet and in the Korean War as a helicopter and airplane repairman. He retired as Chief Petty Officer from the Naval Air Station in Pensacola Florida in 1962. After settling to Beachwood, Floyd then became a member of the Fleet Reserve of Lakehurst
Mr. Clements was predeceased by his wife, Marine Corporal Margaret Clements in 2016. Surviving are; four children, Bruce Clements and his wife Jeanne, Linda Clements, Barbara Clements and Michael Clements and his wife Peggy; three grandchildren, Joseph Sheesley, Jennifer Wilkinson and her husband Benjamin and Michael Fischer; four great grandchildren, Trenton, Lauren, Ashlyn and Evan also a great great granddaughter Faith Marie.
Visiting hours will be Monday, June 12th, from 7pm to 9pm at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. Funeral is Tuesday, 9am at the funeral home, leaving at 10am for burial with Military Honors at 11am in the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown.
