Obituary for Gregory Powers

Gregory Powers, 53, a lifelong Roselle Park, NJ resident passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, May 26, 2017.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 10am. Interment will follow to Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 9pm on Tuesday.
Gregory worked for the Borough of Roselle Park, Department of Public Works for 21 years and a volunteer fireman with Roselle Park Fire Department, Faitoute Hose Company #3 for 30 years.
He was a member of the New Jersey State Fireman’s Exempt Association, Member and bartender of the West End Club, Roselle Park and parishioner of Church of the Assumption, Roselle Park.
Gregory is predeceased by his beloved parents Vincent and Rose M. Powers.
Surviving is a dear son Michael Isaacson; four loving siblings Rosemarie Olden, Celeste Michielli and her husband Anthony, Michael Powers, and Vincent Powers and his wife Christine; seven adored nieces and nephews Laura Marie, Thomas, Russell, Heather Ann, Michael Vincent, Vincent, and Abigail; 8 cherished great-nieces and nephews; and his girlfriend Pamela Magee.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Roselle Park Volunteer Fire Department in Greg’s memory.
