Obituary for Joanne Del Valle (Whitkus)
Joanne Del Valle, (nee: Whitkus), 63, of Kenilworth, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 19, 2017.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation on Monday, April 24, 2017 in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park 6 to 9pm with services at 7pm.
Born in Passaic, NJ, Joanne lived in Kenilworth, NJ for 32 years.
She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and sister.
Joanne was a nurse at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, NJ for 40 years, retiring 2 years ago.
She is survived by three loving children; Christopher Del Valle, Lora Leibrock and her husband Paul, and Nicole Vanderzee and her husband Drew; a dear brother Richard Whitkus and his wife Marilyn Kobayashi; three adored grandchildren Lily, Bruce, and James; and her companion dog Digby.
