Obituary for Gerard B. Radice
Gerard B. Radice, 95, of Kenilworth, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 5, 2017.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa R. C. Church in Kenilworth at 10am. Interment will follow to Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.
Visitation is on Friday 4 to 7pm.
Born in Newark, NJ, Gerard settled to Kenilworth, NJ in 1970.
He was a postal worker for the United States Postal Service in Newark, NJ, for 45 years.
Gerard served his country in the United States Navy during World War II as a Machine Mate Second Class on the USS Trippe. He served in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre and the European African Middle Eastern Area receiving four stars.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife Felicia “Vi” (nee: Rossi) Radice and nine dear sisters and three dear brothers.
Gerard is survived by his loving children Gerard A. Radice and his wife Denise and Sandi Radice and her partner Linda Horning and two adored grandsons Stephen and Ryan. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Kenilworth Fire Department Rescue Squad, 491 Washington Ave., Kenilworth, NJ, 07033 in his memory.
