Joie (Joy) T. Powell (nee: Anderson), 73, of Warren, NJ passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, 559 Raritan Road, Clark.
Born in Philadelphia, Joy was raised in Newark, living in Hillside for twelve years, before moving to Warren thirty six years ago.
She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Joy had a heart of gold who put everybody first before herself and was loved by all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her loving son, Peter.
She is survived by her devoted husband of twenty eight years, William and her two loving & adoring daughters, who will miss her dearly, Jeanie Goett and her husband Harry and Joann Petruzzella and her husband Nino. Her five adored grandchildren, Bryan Mazza and his wife, Jessica, Michael, Nicholas, Christina and Vincent. Also survived by three great grandchildren, Aubrey, Gavin, and Brielle and a host of many loving family members and dear friends.
