Obituary for Anne F. Tavormina (Arace)
Anne F. Tavormina, (nee: Arace), 90, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. formerly of Elizabeth, NJ, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, NJ, on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa R. C. Church in Kenilworth at 10am. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Newark. Visitation will be Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
Born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ, Anne moved to Mt. Pleasant, S.C. 8 years ago.
She was a wonderful wife, incredible mother and grandmother and loyal friend and relative.
Anne is predeceased by her oldest son Joseph Tavormina, a sister Kay Balboa, and a brother Nicholas Arace.
Surviving is her beloved husband Joseph B. Tavormina, who just 10 days before her death celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary, a tribute to the full and devoted life they shared together; three sons Vincent and his wife Glenda, John and his wife Leslie and Jay and his wife Jane; and seven grandchildren Julian, Jena, Taylor, Taryn, Tori, Anna, and Thayer.
