Obituary for Yolanda J Portaro ((nee: Iazzetta))





Yolanda J Portaro, (nee: Iazzetta), 87, of Brick, NJ, formerly of Kenilworth, NJ passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, NJ on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa Church in Kenilworth, NJ at 10am. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, NJ.
Visitation is 4 to 8pm on Friday.
Mrs. Portaro was born in Elizabeth, NJ, living in Hillside and Kenilworth, before moving to Holiday City in Berkeley, NJ, seventeen years ago.
Yolanda was an Office Manager for Schering-Plough in Kenilworth for thirty years, retiring in 1990.
It brought great joy to her heart to care, cook, bake and feed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed greatly by her entire family, who cherished and loved every moment spent with her.
She is predeceased by her devoted husband of sixty-two years, Joseph R Portaro, four dear brothers, Anthony Iazzetta, Joseph Iazzetta, Frank Iazzetta and Michael Iazzetta and one dear sister, Philomena Fiorini.
Surviving is a loving son, Frank Portaro and his wife Jean, a loving daughter Nancy Weinick and her husband Lenny, a dear sister Mary Ditri, six cherished grandchildren, Jason, Marc, Melanie, Joseph, Michael and Jill, and five adored great grandchildren, Samantha, Benjamin, Ryan, Madeleine and Kyle.
