Obituary for Gertrude Cox ((nee: DeSanto))
Gertrude Cox, 91, (nee: DeSanto), 91, of Kenilworth, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at her residence.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, Feb. 12, 2107 at Rosedale Memorial Park at 11am. Mastapeter Funeral Home in Roselle Park is handling the arrangements.
Mrs. Cox was born in Elizabeth, living in Kenilworth for sixty-one years.
She was a waitress at the White Rose Diner in Roselle, NJ for twenty-five years, retiring twenty-five years ago.
She is predeceased by her devoted husband of sixty-five years, Wilbur Robert Cox.
Surviving are her two loving daughters, Julie Hanan and her husband Martyn and Barbara Tobin, two cherished grandchildren, Jennifer Dolan and her husband Michael and Sean Tobin and an adored great granddaughter, Emily Beth Dolan.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Compassionate Care Hospice, 1373 Broad Street, Clifton, NJ 07013.
